RPG Vice vs War Machine

Tag Team Championship Match

I really hope RPG gets more ROH matches. I really like Rocky and Trent. They have good teamwork and Rocky has great chemistry. Well I knew the champs would retain, I like what I keep seeing from the vice. 

Winner: War Machine

Donovan Dijak W/ Prince Nana

We are going to find out what is up with the envelopes Nana keeps giving out. This is the begining of the Enlightened ones. DIjak wants Lethal and Lethal Wants Dijak for hurting Martini. 

ACH vs Kenny "The Cleaner" Omega

The Young Bucks accompany Omega. The crowd is heavy on the side of Omega and that get ticks ACH off. Omega even refuses the hand shake. The Ref has a very slow and deliberate count and it seems to bother ACH. Omega isn't fazed.

Winner: Kenny "The Cleaner" Omega

Silas Young vs Dalton Castle

Fight Without Honor

This fued has been building for months and this seems to be the rubber match. It will be good for each guy to move on to their next chapter. This match is almost as brutal as it can be for regular TV. It is pretty fun and entertaining. 

Winner: Dalton Castle

ROH Wrestling TV Review 4/'2/2016 #WatchROH

To start the show they review the previous weeks action that shows Donovan Dijak injure Truth Martini. Lethal comes on and says Martini has a broken neck. Martini has a well known history of neck problems. Now it's time Lethal is coming for the embassy.

reDragon vs Gedo and Okada "The Rain Maker" IWGP Heavyweight Champion

I am stunned this is the opening match. This is main event quality. reDRagon is favorite tag team. Now Gedo is targeting O'Reilly's ear. It is swollen bad thanks to Adam Cole.

Winners: reDRagon

The Briscoes vs War Machine is coming soon...

Adam Cole vs Kushida

Adam Cole now a lone wolf againis wearing all black. This match is very entertaining and Kushida is one of my favorites, this match is worth watching this show all by itself.

Winner: Adam Cole

DaltonCastle vs Silas Young fight without honor next week...

The Motor City Machine Guns vs the Addiction

Another solid match here. I enjoyed the display of tag team wrestling this weeks episode has.

Winner: MCMG

ROH Wrestling Television Review 3'26/2016 #WatchROH

First of all, it is great to be back. In the time since my last post I have started a business, had a baby, and more. Over that time I have still been in love with ROH and I still follow. With a small nudge, I remembered and  am ready to get back at it.

Rodrick Strong vs Adam Page vs Moose vs Matt Sydal

Four Corner Survival

I am so glad Page is away from BJ Whitmer he deserved a chance to show what he can do on his own. Moose looks great, he has been growing and adding to his arsenal. Maybe he is the guy to win the Television title from Tomohiro Ishii. I don't like the idea of a non ROH guy holding the belt for too long. In the End Strong pulls out a victory and Page gains anothrt reason To Put BJ in his place.

Winner: Rodrick Strong

Story time with Adam Cole Bay Bay

He does't feel like he is on a downward spiral. He is still "the best pro wrestler on the planet". He promises Kyle O'Reilly will never be the ROH Champion. Also Jay Lethal will lose his championship to him also. He also said the Kingdom will be back on top Out comes Matt Taven. He says the Kingdom will go on to great things. The thing is Adam Cole will not be in the Kingdom. Taven will be the leader of the Kingdom, he will build it in his image.

In two weeks Dalton Castle vs Silas Young in a fight without honor.

Cheeseburger vs Foxx Vinyer

All Night Express come out and stop Cheeseburger from getting a victory. Cheeseburger is getting better. ANX steal this time and run down the crowd and Cheeseburger. If you ain't running with you you better run from us.They lay cheese burger out. War Machine and The Briscoes com out for the save. It seems they have alot of tension as well.

Hirooki Goto vs Jay Lethal

ROH World Championship Match

Lethal st5arts the match very aggressively , but Goto is good and he is giving Lethal a run for his money. Truth even gets a Trutharooni in. These New Japan guys are dangerous. I hate when non ROH guys hold ROH gold.

Winner: Jay Lethal

Out comes Donovan Dijak and Prince Nana! He and Lethal go at it. Truth is laid out and is appears The Embassy is indeed forever!

ROH TV Review August 3, 2013 #WatchROH

I am going to do this a little differently. I won't do a weekly post stating the results of the ROH show. I will just write my reaction as I watch the show. I hope I enjoy doing this more and that this becomes more than whatever this is now.

The first match of the night was 3.0 vs Adrenalin Rush. I think the team "3.0" could be a team we see more of. They did kiss is other but they are Canadian so there is that. AR wins this match as expected. I think Tadarius is getting better and better in the ring. I love his kicks. Everyone likes ACH.

Nigel then comes out and makes his announcement of Jay Briscoe being stripped of his title because of his shoulder. There will be a tournament to find replacement, but the focus will be on the Tag Division. So ROH will bring in the best tag teams to compete. reDRagon comes to the ring at that comment. Bobby Fish rags on the crowd and then makes Nigel and offer. He wants their match against the Forever Hooligans to be a title match. Nigel says ok. The American Wolves come out because they feel they should be have a shot at the championships. They want next.

I think TV production has come such a long way. I had been stuck watching on my computer but today my DVR actually worked so this is great. They give out the details about why they had to strip Jay Brisco of the World Title and then give details about the tournament. I am excited about this tournament.

QT Marshall is out and upset he isn't in this match Adam Young vs Silas Young, the winner of this match gets into the World Title tournament. Qt is upset that he isn't in the tournament. Nigel agrees to put him in the tournament and now we have a three way. I am enjoying this match, Silas Young and that made me smile. QT is the goat once again.

Forever Hooligans vs reDRagon is the main event. I am excited about this match as I know it will be good.I didn't even type during this match. This is what tag team wrestling, well what wrestling is all about. The Forever Hooligans win and are the new champs. They now have two championships. What a show this was. this is a must see episode.

Things are changing #WatchROH (Spoilers)

First, no more iPPV's, then this. I don't do spoilers, but this is one.

I am not sure where all of this is headed, but his definitely are changing. I have not seen the episodes as I was too poor to afford to go to both shows. But this is interesting to say the least. Not sure where this is headed, but I am pulling for my guy Jay Lethal. I will just keep my eyes on this and see where it goes. I am just hoping the rumors of the Briscoes leaving are wrong. If not I hope the make millions and millions somewhere and get super famous.

GRUDGE MATCH

BJ Whitmer vs "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett w/ Maria Kanellis

I don't really recall the grudge these two have. I guess they had a match but there wasn't any real build up to this match. That doesn't mean it will be bad though. I like BJ's toughness, and Mike Bennett is a good wrestler as well. Now that I think about it. didn't BJ Kiss Maria?

TAG TEAM ATTRACTION

The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) vs Adrenalin RUSH (ACH & Tadarius Thomas)

This is going to be a great match. Every one knows that I love tag team matches. i am a fan of both teams and have reason to want both to win. Not sure how I will feel on Saturday. Davey may turn on the crowd if they are behind ACH too much. This is a must see match.

SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH

"Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs "Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa

Another match that I can't wait for. I am a huge Ciampa fan so I am pulling for him. I like Elgin also, and he is a beast. I hope this match lives up to my expectations. Not sure if the two will have ring chemistry, but if they do look out.

RETURN MATCH FROM HONOR IN THE HEART OF TEXAS

Roderick Strong vs Adam Cole

Strong has done everything there is to do in ROH. Won every title. and has been in some of the best matches in ROH history. So I guess he is the gatekeeper of sorts. Adam Cole is the young wrestler with tons of potential, that possibly has a world title reign in his future. I look for Cole to win the match and show his darker side. We shall see.

GRUDGE MATCH

"Mr Wrestling" Kevin Steen vs Matt Hardy

I like Matt Hardy's Character in ROH. I just don't believe he can beat Kevin Steen in a grudge match. But, (and there is a but) Hardy has S.C.U.M. on his side. So I have to say I think Matt Hardy wins. Wow now I have heart burn.

ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP

ROH World TV Champion Matt Taven w/ Truth Martini vs Jimmy Jacobs vs. Jay Lethal

I don't like three way title matches. I like three way challenges to be number one contender. I am not sure how I fell about this match. Lethal is one of my guys but his won't be his match. I think this will be Jimmy Jacobs match. He could be a TV Champion for a while.

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) vs S.C.U.M (Rhett Titus & Cliff Compton) vs Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander

I still don't like three way matches for titles, but I hope these matches show me something. I like C & C and reDRagon. So we will be in for a big match. I am not sure what to expect with S.C.U.M. being involved in this and the previous match. I am just going to have to see what happens.

**MAIN EVENT - ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP**

Jay Briscoe vs Mark Briscoe

Jay is going to win, but this is going to be one heck of a match. I have seen two of the matches these two have had. I can only imagine how this macth will be as their skills have grown since then. They promised never to fight again, but here it is. In Baltimore, not far from Sandy Fork, DE. This will be a great Main Event. I can't wait.

Ring of Honor 6/15/13:Weekly Show Recap #WatchROH

Steve Corino welcomes us to a road rage edition of ROH. They are coming from Richmond Va. He cuts a promo for S.C.U.M. This might just be some fun

Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander, and Jay Lethal vs reDRagon and Matt Taven

• They come into the match with action well under way. The crowd is hot and there is so much action.
• Joe Nebrowski (I think) Is doing color.

Winners: C&C and Jay Lethal

They next show a BJ Whitmer promo as he challenges Jay Briscoe for the World Title Tonight. Then Corino comes back on and cuts another S.C.U.M. Promo. He plans to win the TV title and Tag title at Best in the World. Then on the TV tapings S.C.U.M. will take on ROH and if they win, Corino will be in control.

Kevin Steen vs Jimmy Jacobs

• Joe says this is no holds barred and Steen and Jacobs are brawling.
• Jacobs has a chain and he is chocking Steen. Turner calls for the bell.
• Steen says he wants this to be no holds barred and wants the match restarted.
• Now Steen is fighting through all of S.C.U.M. as they go to break.
• Jacobs is now chocking Steen out with a chain.
• Wow great match again tonight.

Winner: Kevin Steen

 

BJ Whitmer vs Jay Briscoe

• I like Joe better than Kevin Kelly. But I won't talk about that right now. Not the time.
• If Road Rages will be like this, I am for it. This Richmond crowd is hot.
• Love seeing that Curly W in the crowd!
• This is a great match, this was a really good go home show for Best in the World

The Show ends with the promos for the Best in the World iPPV. I will be ther in person. If only I was working I would go Sunday as well.
